Since 1976 Baden-Baden is meeting place for Oldtimer fans and automobile enthusiasts from all over Europe.
Next year, the 34. International Oldtimer Meeting takes place on 09., 10. and 11. July 2010. More than 350 automobiles of nine decades will presented under the eyes of over 20,000 visitors in famous Baden-Baden with its pittoresque brook, the Oos.
Over 30 years ago Jean-Marc Culas organised the 1. International Oldtimer Meeting Baden-Baden with 35 participating vehicles and approximately 1,000 visitors. He was supported by Kurdirektor Prof. Burger and Erich Braxmeier. Due to experts of the classics scene this event is nowadays "Germany's most beautiful Oldtimer Meeting, a true open-air museum of automobile history within a marvellous green setting".
Participation is open to Oldtimers of all brands and types constructed until the year 1970. From charmingly tiny cars to magnificent limousines the whole spectrum of automobile history is presented. The guest brand of honour 2009 was Horch and Audi. The guest brand of honour for 2010 will be Alfa Romeo. The traditonal brand is celebrating its 100-year existence.
An extensive social programme with fashion show, jazz concert, lighting and laser illumination will accompany the event and delight visitors on Friday and Saturday evening.
